hours, six are night hours. There are two nomeclatures, the Common (used
by heimin, hinin and eta) which uses animals to denote the hours, and the
High (used by those of the samurai) which uses the names of the kami.

The Rokugani year is split into four seasons, comprising twelve months. It
is a lunar calendar and the new moon always falls on the last day of each
month. The full moon occurs on the 15th day of each month. Again, there
are two nomeclatures as for the hours of the day.
